Corex

Corex

A Laravel-inspired WordPress framework. Spec-first. Block-native. RTL by default.

Corex is a WordPress framework with a clean, layered architecture: a self-booting core (corex-core), a PSR-11 container, thin controllers over fat services over repositories, dynamic FSE blocks as reusable components, a shared-schema forms engine, a fluent QueryBuilder, a wp corex make:* CLI, and runtime design tokens (theme.json → CSS variables → per-site brand.json).

Target: WordPress 7.0+, PHP 8.3+, FSE block themes. Namespace Corex\, CLI wp corex, CSS prefix --corex-.

Spec-first

Every module is specified before it is built; the spec is the source of truth.

Everything injected

Dependencies resolve through a PSR-11 container — testable by construction.

Blocks are components

All blocks are dynamic and server-rendered; sections compose from them.

RTL first

Logical CSS properties everywhere; Arabic layouts correct by default.

  • Evaluating Corex? Read Project status first — what is stable, what is partial, and what is not built, with the file that records each one.
  • New to Corex? Start at Getting Started and spin up a site.
  • Building? Jump to a guide: forms, blocks, queries, the CLI.
  • Hit an error? The Troubleshooting page covers the real ones (e.g. “block not supported”, a missing WordPress install).
